Amber Fuller is a graduate level MFT intern at Castleman Counseling. After divorce six years ago, Amber found herself evaluating an unknown future. Her own healing journey after this unexpected loss ignited a passion for emotional, relational, and spiritual wellness. She knew she wanted to help others experiencing trauma, pain, and grief. While developing national support groups for single parents (www.soloparent.org), Amber returned to school to fulfill a new life calling as a counselor.
Amber’s therapeutic approach is attachment-based and integrative, helping clients connect thoughts, feelings, and beliefs to explore their stories, rewrite false narratives, and pursue healthier relationships.
Amber is a single mom to two teens and has navigated the complexity of parenting a child with autism. Whenever she can, she loves to hike and spend time outdoors because nature is so good for her soul. Amber’s life is centered on relationships with the people and things that matter most because she believes authentic healthy connections are integral to a life of meaning and purpose.
Fun fact: Amber is the tenth of eleven children and is an enrolled member of the Ojibwe White Earth tribal band in Minnesota where she grew up.
