“We are born in relationship, we are wounded in relationship, and we can be healed in relationship.”β Harville Hendrix
“Healing is possible. Restoration is real. And you were never meant to walk through the hard seasons alone.” β Angela
Angela is a Masters Level Intern at Castleman Counseling, currently pursuing her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University. Before entering the counseling field, Angela poured herself into marriage, family, and faith – investing in marriage enrichment ministry alongside her husband, mentoring younger couples, and serving actively in her local church.
She has always been drawn to people and their stories. It is through her own experiences of grief, personal counseling, and relational restoration that Angela discovered her calling to walk alongside others in their hardest seasons. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep belief that every person’s story deserves to be heard with dignity, care, and compassion.
Angela’s approach is relational, faith-integrated, and whole-person focused. She is passionate about serving couples and families, with a particular heart for those navigating trauma, relational wounds, and life transitions.
Angela is under the supervision of Lindsey Castleman, LMFT #1268
Fun fact: Angela can usually be found baking bread, digging in her garden, or gathering people around her table. She believes that joy and humor are just as important as the hard work of healing.
