“So many of us are carrying a story that didn’t go the way we planned. I believe those unexpected turns don’t have to be the end of the story. You were created for connection, and healing happens when someone sits with you in the hard places and reminds you that you aren’t walking through them alone. It would be an honor to be that person for you.” – Brandi
Brandi is an intern at Castleman Counseling and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UC. Brandi comes to counseling after more than 25+ years in ministry leadership, coaching, and writing.
As a certified personal and executive coach and co-leader of Leading and Loving It, a community for women in ministry leadership, she has spent two decades walking alongside people through seasons of transition, loss, and starting over. Over time, she found herself wanting to go deeper than coaching allowed, and that pull led her back to school. She is currently completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at University of the Cumberlands.
Brandi is the author of Better Than Okay, a book about finding hope and healing when life takes a turn you never saw coming. She knows firsthand how much courage it takes to ask for help, and she offers a warm, collaborative space where you can be honest about where you are and curious about where you want to go. Brandi is newly married and is a mom to three grown sons.
Brandi is under the supervision of Lindsey Castleman, LMFT #1268
Fun fact: Spent years in the stands as the loud football mom with the cowbell. She’s a little embarrassed about it, but not enough to stop.
Trainings: Masters Intern in Clinical Mental Health, Certified Personal and Executive Coach (The CaPP Institute; Blessing Ranch Ministries)
