“The gifts of life are often hidden in the places that most hurt.” Henri Nouwen
“To love at all is to be vulnerable.” C.S. Lewis
One of our greatest fears in life is to be alone – alone in our suffering, pain, and sorrow. I believe healing happens in the context of relationships, and counseling can be a great way to journey through your hurt with a safe companion.
Counseling is primarily a relationship, not a program, that is focused on helping guide you towards physical, emotional, and spiritual wholeness. Together, we will assess the place where you find yourself and figure out how to get where you want to go.
My counseling is informed by existential, psychodynamic, and attachment theories, as well as my own experience in counseling, ministry, and recovery.
Fun fact: Hunter enjoys specialty coffee, trying new restaurants with friends, and going for walks with his golden retriever.
