“I’m not focusing on your outside. I’m trying to find the masterpiece inside you.” ~

“I have learned now that while those who speak about one’s miseries usually hurt,
those who keep silence hurt more.” ~ C. S. Lewis
I believe deeply in the importance of compassionate, individualized support and am humbled and honored to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life’s challenges and discover hope and healing. I believe that healing happens when we feel safe enough to authentically connect to self and others. I look forward to meeting you wherever you are on your journey and walking it together. My hope is that my clients feel fully seen, known and loved and that they are never alone in their pain. -Rachael
Rachael is an intern at Castleman Counseling and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Before entering the counseling field, she built a career in the outdoor industry, where she wrote, modeled, and produced photoshoots focused on fly fishing and upland bird hunting for brands such as Orvis, Yeti, and Patagonia, as well as several outdoor publications. She has also spent time as a stay-at-home mom. Rachael is the mother of three young adults—ages 21, 19, and 17—and enjoys fly fishing for trout or tarpon, bird hunting, live music, football, baking, and traveling abroad.
Rachael is under the supervision of Lindsey Castleman, LMFT #1268
Fun fact: I am a native Nashvillian. I can’t snap my fingers. I have fear of heights, so
I forced myself skydive in New Zealand and I LOVE dogs!
